Breath Wish - Algernon Cadwallader

So, Christmas Day. I was awoke this morning by a good few "Merry Christmas" texts from friends at around 8am, I was real tired but couldnt get back to sleep due to the freezing cold breeze blowing on my face from the window above my head. Then out of the blue, Mam decided it was time to get up. Me and Paul both discussed how tired we were and how we didnt wanna get up from across the landing while Mam was downstairs sorting out presents with the kitchen radio on. I eventually sleepwalked down the stairs shortly followed by my little brother. We gave out presents and opened our own, did the whole Merry Christmas thing and drank cups of tea. We rang Grandma in London to wish her the best and for her to enjoy the rest of her time down there. Then I rang Sarah to see how her day had started out. Shortly after, Paul and myself got ready for Dad coming to pick us up. We drove over to Byker to firstly visit Aunty Olive and Uncle Joe followed by a visit to Aunty Joan. It was really good to see everyone again, It felt like it'd been way to long. Dad dropped us back off at Mams for dinner. I love the extra effort my Mam puts in to make me a Veggie dinner, Shes awesome! So dinner ruled, and we chilled late into the afternoon. Then I headed over to see Joe, Kaite and Roscoe. Brett and Chloe were there too, We talked for a bit and watched some TV, Daz and Danni came round briefly but they had to get back to heaton as they'd brought there new puppy round to say "Hi" and needed to get him settled into their home. We ordered a sweet Indian takeaway because were all so into the Traditional, British, Christmas Day bullshit, Drank some beers, smoked some weed and then I headed back over to Mams. I made a brew and im dipping in chocolate fingers. Think il watch some of Pauls new Family Guy DVD and hit the hay.
So all in all Christmas day turned out pretty good, it beat the shit outta last year, I wasnt at work, I saw friends and family and im super stoked for the Boxing Day session at Lafferty's house tomorrow.
Oh yeah, the photo is the first thing I saw this morning when I looked out the window. There was snow on the ground and a sun in the sky. Couldnt really have asked for anything more. Killingworth, you rule!
Peace.
