The Chandelier Swing - Braid

I'd been looking forward to today for quite sometime. Me and Sarah took her two little cousins Ellen and Jess to see "Where The Wild Things Are" at The Gate in town. It was freezing cold waiting for the bus. It never ceases to amaze me how the world just seems to fall to pieces when theres snow on the ground, Over careful car drivers crawl up and down the roads, people walk with far too much caution and public transport doesnt seem to exist (or at least from your side of the road). Anyway the film was rad, Sarah bought popcorn, Jess was sick in the cinema which I though was hilarious after I stopped worrying about her, the smell was terrible and im pretty sure she ruined the film for the people sitting a few rows in front, Awesome times! We took her to primark after the film to get some new clean non-vomit covered pants. I then said my goodbyes and hopped on the bus to Killingworth to visit my family. The bus got annihilated by kids with snowballs, The first thing that came to my head was "Fuck me, kids are evil little bastards!" Then i thought, "You know what, being a kid is awesome" I thought back to the shit we did with snow last night and smiled to myself. I love how doing the dumbest shit brings the biggest sense of adventure to the mind of a kid. I felt slightly like that last night, I hadnt felt that way in a years. Im pleased it came back, even if it was only for a short time. I arrived at my first stop, Mams house, brews were drank and Mam made some food. I chilled for a bit then left for stop #2 Grandma's house. It was nice to see her, it'd been a while. This is also the last time il see her this year with her heading down to London for Christmas and new year. Finally I hit up my Dads, good craic, we watched some TV then I got the bus back up home. Me and Sarah chilled with some nachos and watched "Weird Science". I still cant believe iv never seen it before, Really enjoyed it. Im ending the day listening to Cap'n Jazz.
